New Report Properties in Project Manager: Simple Comments, Target and Achieved

A recent Project Manager release adds three reporting options — a Simple Comments property, and Target and Achieved properties that output the planned and actual position from a CPT production entry — plus a change to how the Comments property aggregates text.

Project Manager's reporting has three new properties you can drop into report blocks, aimed at cleaner production reports for clients.

Simple Comments

The existing Comments property includes the time and the production type alongside the comment text. The new Simple Comments property outputs just the comment text — nothing else. Where you want a clean run of comments in a report, you can replace Comments with Simple Comments.

Target and Achieved

Two new properties, Target and Achieved, output the eastings and northings from a CPT (cone penetration test) entry in the Production Log — the planned position and the position actually acquired. This lets a report show, side by side, where a CPT was meant to be taken and where it was.

Comments now aggregates per line segment

The Comments property has also changed: it now aggregates the comments from the relevant line segment, rather than from the entire operation. Reports built on Comments show tighter, more relevant text as a result.

These properties are configured the same way as other report-block properties. If you would like help adding them to an existing report template, contact support@havian.com.
